The names of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s twins have reportedly been revealed. Their names are Rumi and Sir Carter, according to a report from TMZ. The report cited “legal docs” Friday that were recently filed by a Carters-owned company that secures name rights. The rights, TMZ said, were secured for potential use in products ranging from fragrances to “sports balls.”
Beyoncé gave birth to the twins earlier this month. In the weeks since their birth, Jay Z started teasing his new album 4:44, which dropped Thursday at midnight and includes a presumed reference to the twins on the title track. “It’s the title track because it’s such a powerful song, and I just believe one of the best songs I’ve ever written,” Jay told iHeartRadio.
Beyoncé put the entire internet on pause when announcing the pregnancy in back in February on Instagram. “We would like to share our love and happiness,” she wrote. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”
